Paris Olympics 2024

Paris Olympics 2024 is coming soon, in which Indian athletes are aiming to win the best medals. India has won 35 Olympic medals so far. Abhinav Bindra in 2008 and Neeraj Chopra in 2020 won historic gold medals.  Paris 2024 will welcome  around 10,500 athletes from more than  200 countries  compting  each other in 32 sports .

• India has won 35 medals at the Olympics since the 1900 edition.

• India won its first Olympic gold medal in 2008, when Abhinav Bindra won gold in men’s 10 m air rifle shooting in Beijing.

• Neeraj Chopra also won the men’s javelin throw event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

The Paris Olympics will begin on July 26 and run until August 11.

117 athletes and 140 support staff have been approved by the Sports Ministry for the Paris Olympics.

• July 25: Archery (Women’s Individual Ranking Round)
• July 27: Badminton (men’s, women’s singles group stage, men’s, women’s doubles group stage, mixed doubles group stage), Rowing, Shooting: 10m air rifle mixed team qualification, 10m air pistol women’s qualification ,  Boxing, Table Tennis , Tennis.
